Rules: gator skin balls provided by the volleyball team will be used. The object of the game is to be the team that does not have all its players eliminated. To eliminate players, you throw balls at the other team while dodging balls that are thrown by the other team. To be out, the ball must hit you while in the air, not after it hits the ground. If the ball you threw is caught, you are out. A ball that is tipped while trying to catch it, but is not caught makes the person who tipped it out. If a different person catches it off of their teammates tip, the person who threw it is out as well as the person who tipped it. If you get hit by a ball in the face- the person who threw it is out. You can block a ball while holding another ball, but if you drop the ball you were holding– you are out. If you duck, or are not upright and get hit in the head, you are out. You may go on the other side of the court, all the way to the last volleyball line. If you cross the line, you are out. If a whistle is blown by a coach, you must throw the ball immediately, and throw it as a throw towards an opposing player…not just down on the ground or to yourself. There is no returning to the game once you are out.
